Liverpool are having a lot of the ball, as you'd expect, but we're doing OK for an away side at Anfield.   Obviously the score is currently brilliant, but the performance itself has been OK.  I don't think it's as bad as some are making out? Maybe I just have lower expectations for this type of game.  At least we're getting a few shots on target this week :-)

Given how Man City annihilated Leeds in terms of possession and shots earlier, and still lost, I'm not sure lightning can strike twice in the same afternoon so we'll have to improve to keep ahead.

Who was the idiot who flicked the ball to keep it in up by the half way line?

Trez

He needs shooting.

Traore is such a frustrating player. He has loads of talent and great vision, so he does some excellent stuff. But he often makes a load of daft errors that undermine his good work.

I think it's now four times that I've seen Traore play that blind volley from a thrown in half way inside our half.  It's time Smith told him to fucking stop doing it.

I'd agree with this, its not as bad as last week, we've been incredibly sloppy at times and yet again our wide attackers are worse than fucking useless but Liverpool haven't had that many clear opportunities.

What do you expect with a stock broker in goal?

Laughed loud at this, not sure why !

Traore off and Davis on for me. Both wingers have been passengers, but Traore isn’t even offering the effort required.

We've given Liverpool a number of gifts which they haven't taken. Can't expect that to continue.

Dean should make a change at h-t but he won't.

Agreed. Now if we can cut out the stupid mistakes we can go on and win this.

Traore Luiz Trez are dreadful

Think it's easier pick out the ones playing well. Martinez (quite superb in forcing Salah to take that shot early), Konsa and Targett. The rest average, poor and awful. Some of Liverpool's best chances have come from unforced errors from Mings, Traore, Nakamba and Cash.

I'd like to see Smith take action at the break. Get that waste of space Traore off and give Davis a go. Get Watkins up against TAA.

Ultimately that's why he's a £17m player and not a £70m player.  He has the natural ability to be the latter, but he sometimes makes the sort of errors and poor decisions that would embarrass a League 2 player.

I'll be interested to see if he gets a bit more space if Liverpool come out all guns blazing in the second half.

They will surely bring on Mane soon, he always seems to have great games v us.

Certainly try to get Davis on to hold it up a bit better.

He’s shit.

He does nowhere near enough. Today he has been utterly wretched.
