I would love to go with my heart and say a win for us. However, judging from our recent form and, most likely still without Jack, I can’t see anything but a Spurs win. Like the positivity on here but, feel a bit like claret and blue glasses to me. Please, please Villa shove these words down my throat on Sunday.

No Son, no chance ! We'll win 1-1.

Hopefully Grealish starts.

If he does and Son is out, then I think we can win this.

Grealish still out and like it or not, on account of recent displays, we are a one man team (going forward at least).

We'll battle well as 'plucky underdogs' but Spurs will stink the place out with a standard 0-1 Mourinho win.

It’s annoying they had a terrible display last night. They’re bound to bloody react.

Yes Nii, once again we are told today that although it’s not a long term injury, this game may have come too soon. Personally, I count any injury that’s over a month as a substantial injury. Short term to me means 1 week or 2 maximum.
Anyway, even if Jack is available, he will need at least a couple of matches to get back up to some sort of speed. Hopefully, he will be much fitter after the international break.

As one of my erstwhile friends pointed out earlier if he doesn't start on Sunday, it will be nearly two months when the Fulham game comes around.  This when it was mooted he could start against Sheffield United. Short term injury my arse.

Lets not forget Chas & Fucking Dave either, wash out yer gills and jellied eels are good for yer brain.
I’m feeling contrary so I’ll defend Chas & Dave. Apart from the Spurs abomination and one or two of their more ‘Saturday night variety show’ efforts, their music is pretty genuine. And that’s them playing on the classic ‘I got the...’ by Labi Siffre, which tips the scales massively in their favour.

If you look at the line up Spurs can put out against us it’s difficult to see how we are going to win without Jack.
We have to hope that they don’t like each other and have stopped playing for the manager.

It'll have been nine days since our last game. I hope that our players won't be looking too knackered.

Top player injured, another one suspended. Just lost the local derby. Dumped out of europe after taking a 2 goal lead away, having played extra time. Manager who is at war with the players. Players out on their feet. ....and still we are wetting the bed at the thought of playing them without Jack. Where has all the optimism gone. We are Aston Villa a match for all comers.

Depends on your attitude I guess.

I think this could be a 0-0 snooze fest.
