Gods goal and Yorkie winner always stands out for me circa 96?

Big Dion's debut stands out for me. Two goals infront of the Holte and 3 up with ease before Ginola had a good last 20 minutes and helped them get back to 3-2. George Graham managed them in those times (and won them one of their two trophies in last 30 years) and we were top of the league. Happy days.

They won once at Villa Park between 1993-2008!

Any chance of us possibly going with wing backs tonight if Jack is out? We urgently need to try something different and the wingers clearly aren't working. Cash and Targett will be comfortable pushing on.

-----------------Martinez
-------Konsa, Engels, Mings
Cash, Luiz, Nakamba, McGinn, Targett
--------Traore/Barks, Watkins
A the moment, the one part of the team that is playing anything like a top six team is the defence. Why would you want to tinker with them??

It’s one of those other team going through a bad patch needing benevolent opposition which is so often Aston Villa.

I like us playing Spurs. Dunno why, but since I've been away from the area & have to be more selective with the games I go to, Spurs at home is one of the go-to fixtures. That and the FA Cup 3rd Round.

Us 4-1 Them.

You mean like when their first team are playing our youth reserves and a record-breakiing defeat is inevitable?

I'm missing this due to having to go for lunch with an 81 year-old from Boston. The last Sunday night game I missed was when we played Liverpool, due to having been at lunch with an 81 year-old from Highley (a friend of Gerry Hitchens and Kevin Keelan). You know what to do, Villa.

Grealish doesn't make the squad today.
