Let’s be honest, if it wasn’t Villa playing, most of us was have switched off by now.
Wouldn’t have switched on in the first place

We look so light on midfield. No able to dictate our play. We seem unable to keep possession either. A tired looking performance so far.

Poor half, nothing much happening. Nothing sticking with Ollie and Tyrone has been turned out of position a few times.
Midfield creating nothing.

Two shite teams, can't see a goal in this.  Like watching two blokes trying to have a swordfight wielding a couple of fish.

If we knock a bit of money off, do you think Man City would definitely take Luiz back?

Think it's been his best 45 mins in a very long time. He has made a number of interceptions and tidy passes. Konsa has been as composed as ever. AEG has some a bit of life since coming on.

That aside, this has been every bit as bad as we feared pre game. Mings has been appalling, really needs the coaching staff to tear into him at half time. Watkins has been terrible too, his first touch is horrible. Ramsey unfortunately has let the game pass him by. Elmo and Trez....yikes, would struggle in championship.

Thankfully Newcastle have been equally as bad. Joe Linton getting the better of the arm wrestling match with Mings, Willock showing some nice touches but not much else.

Right, negativity over. Second half let’s get an early goal. We’re better than this, a decent start and we can put these to the sword. I believe.

The fact that people actually watch chef programmes speaks volumes for the tone of comments on that first half.

Choose life.

This forum never ceases to amaze me, the polar views are incredible. Some people think we are being outplayed whilst others think we are well on top! So which is it for fucks sake 😂

I’m not his greatest fan but I would put Barkley on for Ramsey

Other than the defence & maybe McGinn we are physically weak & get brushed aside so easily.

Add in the lack of quality from the wide players doesn't help.

It does look like we are a one man team, cluless in midfield and Watkins has the ball bouncing away from him all game. Not sure who we could bring on that would make any difference.
