My god that was poor. Absolutely zero zip or energy. Get Sanson on in midfield.

Is Smith?

Our crossing hasn't improved one jot since Sheff U. One major chance was created solely by some clever play by Trez.

There's no interplay, no building pressure. It's just the odd scrap of play here and there.

Watkins needs some help. Ramsey off and Davis on. I ain't a big fan of Davis, but Watkins needs someone closer to him..

Ramsay looks like he doesn't have the confidence to either drive with the ball, or play more ambitious passes, so I think your 442 idea might be the right plan.

If we knock a bit of money off, do you think Man City would definitely take Luiz back?

He's been good this half

Really??

Defensively sound.

Feel Mings has tried to take on Joelinton physically and he doesn't need to.

Dougie covering well and no real dangers in our box.

Build up is so-so and while I feel we carry more menace, the quality of ball hasn't been there.

Feel we're carrying Ramsey and the midfield set up centrally isn't right.

Watkins touch has not been there, although he is consistently fouled.

Yep I really hope he makes it, but there is no way Ramsey should be starting at the moment.

Yes, sorry to say Ramsey has looked a little out of his depth.

There's no guile in our midfield tonight. Just players putting a shift in for both sides. We're desperate for a quality playmaker to pull the strings. Ross is capable but after his recent turgid form I'm not so sure he's the answer here. Perhaps a chance for Sanson to shine?

Let’s be honest, if it wasn’t Villa playing, most of us was have switched off by now.

East with hindsight, but Ramsey looks like the wrong decision for tonight. I’d bring Sanson on at half time. These are shite and it will take is 10 minutes of sustained pressure and they’ll crack. That was very similar to the 2nd half performance against wolves, other than Newcastle didn’t create anything. Hopefully we’ll get our act together and play like the 1st half against wolves. Everything’s bouncing off Ollie at the moment

They're back 4 is sitting quite deep. Not much room for us to catch them on the break.
I
They're going route one, or just knocking in crosses.

I worry when it's Mings chasing back one on one with their forward. Always liable to bugger it up.
