I don't think it's harsh at all. Elmo watched the ball pass by him completely oblivious to the player steaming in behind him. That's rank bad defending at this level.

For this one Elmo acted like he thought the ball was going safely out of play, clearly had no idea McGoldrick was there, which just isn't good enough.

I didn't say anything about the goal tonight, he got caught out. Not convinced he has 'cost us 3 in 3' though. I don't think Cash would be described as such if the same scenarios had happened while he was playing.
