The extra space for GA+ will come from moving the offices and more wedding marquees in the car park.

You can be sure that every last cupboard and bin store will be cleared out to make space for more premium hospitality.

That’s quite possible I suppose.

I'm not the target audience here but will they recoup the cost of this by selling 'premium packages' in a stand well past its heyday and having your dinner in a tent on the car park?

The SBP logo might be the structural engineers Schlaich Bergermann Partners who seem to have stadia experience:

Look at cheltenham today and you’ll see the demand for food and booze in a tent is massive.

If it’s more Hosp/GA+ then as long as that means my ST price doesn’t go up then all
Good.

Yeah right….

Fair point although numbers there have been falling for years.

From Twitter:

I didn't think it was possible to get to 50k by extending the existing stand.

That looks better than I expected. But, is it genuine?

.

Looks like a storey of boxes has been replaced by tiered seating (bottom of the upper tier).  I’d guess this, with its own access, would be GA+ with the old boxes converted to a bars/restaurants.

Webe had The Cells...next it's The Broom Cupboard, The Bogs, and Doug's Throne Room.

This all sounds great until they find Doug used aerated concrete, and the stand has the structural integrity of an anthill.

One of the reasons i think those drawings are iffy is the way the reworked upper tier is angled to narrow towards the top when it could just go straight back or even angle the opposite way to widen at the top giving us more seats which is the whole point of removing the roof.
