On the flip side, what I was living in Edinburgh, after a night out my mate Stu was a bit gary’ed and phoned up a rudey lady but forgot why he’d phoned and so rabbited on about Hearts at her.

Reminds me of that bloke who rang Babestation and just as he got through, heard his wife at the front door unexpectedly. The young lady on TV said “hello big boy, what can I do for you?”, and he replied “quick, hide behind the settee, my wife’s just come in and I can’t find the remote”.
I told you that in confidence

I used to really enjoy the podcast Dan Bardell did back in the championship days with the guy who went to work for the Bundesliga.

The gold standard of Villa content has to be Villa on Tour. I’ve not seen any fan channels for any club, that portrays the thrills and spills of the matchday experience quite so well.

Bardell is the chap who distracted Barry, stopping him from taking the pen.

Who is Dan Bardell?

He hovers over us and operates in the third person. He’s alright. A bit full of himself.

He's fine, often admits he may be wrong plus he has JT on there and leagues apart compared to the bloke with the beard (not Neil at FTLOPM) Luke (?) who positions himself as some type of vlogging Footie with his insights etc. I guess his audience are easily impressed kids. Each to their own.

Yeh I only really watch it when Tanswell is on. He’s very good. I like the Claret & Blue Podcast mainly.

Tom Julian was the lad who was on Villa View and went to work for the Bundesliga. I liked it then and it’s still good now. They all seem to have done well for themselves.

Absolutely agree on Villa on Tour, the gold standard.

The Doherty brothers’ The Villa Podcast is the best by far.

It’s genuinely funny and is the only Villa related podcast that I bother with.

His Guardiola rant takes some beating.
