When Purslow first talked about redevelopment he talked about two phases over ten years and I definitely recall seeing a 60,000 target. It went quiet and much talk of 50,000 but they must have kept the bigger plans on the background

It won’t be the Trinity, they are just about to spend £8m on new dressing rooms. Let alone the new corner seats and reprofiling.

Witton Lane will have the space to build big, while only losing 10,500 seat for part of the season.

Well I can’t see much movement at all in sale of houses on Holte Road (the appropriate numbers) or McGregor Close so I think it’s only a log term plan atm.

Its amazing they’ve owned that land to the east if Tame Road since 2018. It fits in with local area plan but there’s no sign of any movement forward since before NWSE.

After checking, Liverpools new Main Stand is 20,500...and I'd imagine it would be something similar that we are looking at? Don't think they demolished the old one and built around it?

They built around the large lower tier, we don’t have that on witton lane, so it could compromise the capacity of any new stand.

Yeah, but the Corner flag building is still half-demolished for example, and nothing else done on it since Nov.

Yeah, would seem a harsh reaction - demolishing WAGS and kids just cos the players blow kisses and wave up at them every game.

It's a long-term plan though, organic growth, financially sound, incrementally building different types of fan bases, as success is sustained.

It wouldn't surprise me if the club were already buying properties in Holte Road and McGregor Close already.

Records show that in Holte Road there was a sale in June 2023, then before that one each in December 2022, August, May and March 2021 and the last one before that 2019.

No recent records at all for McGregor Close.
