As Risso said on page 1 we have a tendency to follow up a good result with an unexpectedly shite one, and even moreso when it gives us an opportunity such as getting very close to the CL places.  If we can win at Leeds we should be able to beat the Blades, especially as, unlike Leeds, they find it very hard to score.  I think we'll manage a 2-0 win.

This will be no push over.
Once again a rivalry has been established, for them, out of thin air. Well, out of Hawkeye.

To be fair to their supporters, them and Bournemouth don't talk about it anywhere near as much as our noisy neighbours x2 and Spotlessly Clean Leeds.

It's the only decision from last season that ever seems to get mentioned. No other disallowed goals, handballs, penalties that should have been awarded etc etc. To be fair, it was a shit decision but there were VARious more, especially of the VARiety where Stockley Park were involved.

A very good friend of mine from my uni days is a Blade, we went to loads of different games during those times, since when we have each liked to see the other's team do well.  I have a bit of an inkling for a draw today, 2-2.

Because, as others have said, we always seem to pull out a bad performance after a good one and we seem to be better at beating teams like Liverpool and Arsenal than Burnley or Brighton.

What's been pissing me off recently is all the noise over Brighton having their goal disallowed when, however poor it was, it's nothing like as bad as Friend blowing up as Lansbury was scoring against Palace so he could book Grealish for diving. I don't remember anything like as much noise over that.

We’ll win today. Leeds was the banana skin. Villa will be very focused after seeing Everton’s win last night.

They've scored 2 goals in matches against ManUtd when they lost 3-2 and West Brom which they won 2-1. That's it. We've one of the better defences in the league, surely they can't score 2 against us?

Yup, that still boils my piss that Friend deliberately avoided a VAR decision by whistling before the ball crossed the line.

Hated these wan***s ever since they thrashed us under Bruce, their throwback fans thought they were the bollocks giving it loads after the game. Would be really happy to see us hammer another nail in their coffin today, can't wait to see them go back down.
