Glad to see Ramsey get his chance. Elmo Vs Raphinha makes me nervous, could've done with Trezeguet in front of him with Traore meandering.

I guess Dean sees the goals from Traore and even though he has improved in helping out defensively, he's no Trez.
The same could be said for the other side of the pitch, El Ghazi has scored a few and has been known when not standing on the touchline, to occasionally help out. Plus, it's impossible for El Ghazi to be as poor as his last performance.

Happy enough with that team selection. Luiz and Barkley can have no complaints. Big chance for Ramsey, thought Sanson would have been the call there but Ramsey brings plenty of mobility. Big show of faith in AEG but I'm glad it's not Trez on left wing.

It’s the right decision to drop Barkley for me, hopefully stop some of smith and weak management malarkey whatever the result. I would of had had Trez instead of el Ghazi and Sanson for Ramsey, but horses for courses. Just hope we give them a game

Yep, even though the midfield looks considerably poorer with Nakamba, Ramsey and El Ghazi in it, almost Championship like, it sends a message out and Luiz and Barkley have been very poor for the last 5 or so games.

Harrison not playing for them - is that good?

Is this the poorest starting eleven of the season?

Smith is right to make changes; but, it shows what a poor squad we actually have.

Yes he’s one of their best players and would’ve been up against Elmo.

We have to start better today ands match their aggression and movement.  Leeds will be instructed to run us down, chase everything.  If we match that, we can beat them.

Well, some of our better players haven't been at it recently so we have been poorer for them being in the team.

I hope these boys can give it a real go today.

He's got a foot like a traction engine (Partridge)/a foot that could open a tin of beans (Gregory).

Would McGinn on the right and Traore up the middle in the Barkley role work?

Yep, shudder to think what would happen if Watkins picked up an injury

Happy with Ramsey in, but tough on Sanson, I expect he'll get his usual 10 mins.

Yeah, in place of Ramsey!
