I know that there were questions about whether Hourihane was good enough for where we wanted to be, but somebody is going to have to explain how he'd be a worse option in our squad than Barkley right now.

He looked a world beater when initially partnered with Jack but he's been poor since returning for the hamstring injury

I’d be sympathetic if he was playing well. He’s not and nor am I.

Hash. I think you've had a decent game, mate.

Trez wasn't offside. Must have been for Watkins.

Even SWMBO was asking why Sanson wasn't on and she knows fuck all about football.

If I were Barkley I'd be pissed off too. Imagine coming to us and not managing to play 90 mins. It's the realisation he's bit as good as he hoped he would be.

Why the fuck is it always a drama when Barkley goes off? Get a sense of perspective you useless clogger!
Yes....spoilt brat or billy big bollocks?
Here's an idea Ross - try to look like you give a shit when you're actually on the pitch.

I don't think I've ever seen a player put so much effort into being resolutely mediocre as Trez.

Can't help but like the guy, though

I see Barkley having his usual subbed induced strop.

Sansom already looks like he’s adding much more than Barkley

Barkley needs to drop the 'Sulky Sue' attitude. By my reckoning he needs us more than we need him.
