Having had a week off last week we looked as lethargic as I can recall this season last Saturday.

Didn't see Saturday's game but it is apparent we were crap. With no logic other than we've been up and down lately, I fancy us to win Sunday.

I’ve never looked forward to playing Leicester since Little was in charge of us. However the last game was great, we looked so comfortable against them. Last season before Lockdown must be a warning to the boss and team of what they are very capable of.

Can’t call it, when we lose we tend to get tonked, so either 3-0 them or 2-0 us.

Think we'll get beat comfortably 3 or 4-1 here. Elmo to be ripped to shreds, Barkely to start and be anonymous, midfield to get outmuscled.

A very bad day at the office I forecast.

Fucking hell Ads. If you think that then I reckon it'll be a cricket score!

If the fears about Elmo are proven right then letting Guilbert go out on loan feels increasingly odd.

I know that players improve in our minds when they are not playing but Guilbert was quick at least and quickness is everything in this league.

Elmo, one on one against a pacy winger is a scary thought.

Yes, strange decision to let Guilbert go, for this exact reason.

For whatever reason Smith doesn’t fancy Guilbett, could be something he sees in training, something to do with his attitude, who knows frankly. The reality is he’s our 3rd choice right back, so it really isn’t that strange to let him go on loan, I don’t even know who are 3rd choice left back is?
Elmo may may we’ll get torn apart by Barnes on Sunday, I said earlier in the thread he’ll probably need Trez in front of him to support. However, I don’t remember Guilbert pulling up any trees against them when we got hammered at their place in March.

I don’t believe I’m reading some of the comments. We’re 8th not 18th  I’m thinking
1-1 possibly 2-1 to us  don’t care who scores

Whe  Ads and Paul E say anything negative about us, you know it's serious.

we have been well below par lately . Jack looks shagged and Barkley just a waste of a player . They have been inform. Freshen it up with morgan coming in , maybe even Jacob to come in , Id stick with Bertie .     So Villa win then ...    1-0

hope you’re right I’d definitely take 1-1 if it was offered now. I think most of the doom and gloom posts (mine included) are based on the clubs’ recent form. We’re in an inconsistent run where we’re winning and losing and that cycle was only broken by the 0-0 with Brighton. Conversely, Leicester seem to be flying right now. Crazy season though, anything can happen.

Teams do fatigue unexpectedly, we have to hope the recent build up of a game every 4 days will
Impact Leicester against our fixture schedule.
Smith has to get the selection and strategy right as another defeat will cement a decent but mid table season.
