Stating the obvious, but extremely tough game. I never really back against villa and won’t do so here, but struggle to see us getting anything. Our performance levels from the midfield in particular was really poor against Brighton and West Ham, but not particularly inspiring in wins against Southampton and Arsenal. I also think the edge starting coming out of our play as early as the 2nd half against Newcastle, with the only really positive performance attacking wise in that run of games since, being the first half against Burnley.
If Cash is out. I think Smith will have to sacrifice Traore, to bring in Trez to support Elmo against Barnes. I would also give Sanson a go as a straight swap for Barclay to see if that gives us much needed energy further forwards.
A nervy backs to the wall 1-1 at best (Watkins).

This is going to be a tough game, and if I am honest I don't fancy us to get a result. I would start Sanson and I would prefer Jack in the middle, but neither of those will probably happen.
