Very poor half. Martinez our best player. Barkley and Traore both passengers. Moyes has laid out the blueprint of how to stifle Jack and us in general. Hoping theres a plan B for Jack because he is isolated and totally wasted tonight.

To be fair they haven’t needed to stifle us. We’ve done fuck all.
They have overrun our midfield. Pressed really hard and doubled up on Jack. Niggly fouls and shirt pulls etc have kept him out of the game. All very West Ham deja vu.

They are niggly fuckers. There's a sending off in this, Grealish needs to keep his cool so it's not him.

So far pretty average. They've had one good chance and that's it.
I had to read that twice.

It's time Sanson is given a chance.

As usual, Barkley pile on.

Everyone in front of back 4, has been poor.

Nonsense. You describe what you see. He has been very poor.

Do you think differently?

I think everyone in front of the back four has been poor. As stated above.

Just joining in at half time after a bottle of Old vine Zinfandel...

Doesn’t sound great so far. Any positives? They look like niggly fouling fits.

... and you think he's having a good game?

He was fucking abysmal. Picked a Brighton player every time, offers nothing in the press, constantly the wrong side. He is fucking wank.

Couldn't put it better.. Look, Barclay has joined us with an ideal that he can force himself into the England squad.

At the moment he's lucky to get into the Villa team. He has talent but he really isn't showing it. He's got to step up massively.

Not very good. 4-1-4-1 put some strength into midfield

I’m a bit worried about Jack. Already booked and looks totally frustrated. A second yellow could come to him if he decides to concentrate on his petulance rather than the game itself.
Let’s hope that doesn’t happen and that we can turn this performance around.

Seeing Bournemouth have 2 RB's mark Grealish out the game, and still not have McGinn or Barkley be able to take advantage of that is infuriating
Bournemouth????? WTF?

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside (wherever it is!).

Give Barkley and Traore 10 minutes from the restart. If they persist in failing to produce the minimum hook them both for Sanson and Ramsey.

Brighton are a good side and you have to earn the right to win. We’ve turned up looking like we’ll walk it.
