Kelly great for a couple of rounds and then looked fooked. Those body shots took their toll.

Well this is going to go 10 rounds as neither seem to have punch power

Let’s see if my boxing predictions are also off

If they're worse than mine give up.

I worked with a lad who liked his boxing but way too young to know much about Hagler, Sugar Ray, Duran and Hearns.  When he left I got him a DVD of all their fights against each other.
When I saw him a few weeks later all he could say about the fights was "Wow".
A golden age, the only way I could describe Hagler's fighting  style would be controlled violence.

Remember his fight against Minter. Narky, racist and brutal. Incredible to think he'd had 50+ fights by the time he won the title. I still maintain he beat Leonard.

I remember a Hugh McIlveny interview with Leonard in which he told Leonard he thought Hagler had shaded it on points. I think Leonard ended the interview at that point - in a mock angry way.

Marvin's win against Thomas 'The Hit Man' Hearns must go down as one of the greatest victories in boxing history, considering the circumstances.

Tonight promises to have a couple of good fights, including Lee McGregor taking a step up. We've already had Nathan Bendon, who comes from Sutton and is therefore almost certainly one of us, getting a good upset win.
