I may have claret and blue tinted glasses on, but I have no idea what those two commentators are on about.  Alan Smith said w "had been defending for our lives" and Barkley's goal was "smash and grab" despite Watkins having a good chance just before that.

Yes, we haven't been as fluent as we have in other games, but we are away against a decent side and would expect to be under a bit of pressure at times.  We looked shaky in the opening stages, but thought we began looking a bit more comfortable as the half went on.  The commentary has been ridiculous.
Agreed.Evidently Southampton had an "onslaught" .

Ollie has forced a couple of good saves.

They are analysing the non-pen: why did the ref firstly award a corner and then restart with an indirect free kick to us? - either for offside or another minor infringement.
Why don't Sky see that?!!

I don't think Southampton have had an effort on target - despite having more possession

Totally.

Ings was called offside after it was deemed not a penalty.

We got lucky, it was pretty similar to the one we didn't get at Arsenal last season which was an obvious one they bottled.

Roy Keane has started referring to Grealish simply as 'Jack'.  It sounds slightly odd.

On the US coverage they’re playing the Cash incident over and over. Not entirely sure what they’re trying to achieve.

If you stretch your leg out towards the ball, your arm is going to go with it.

I suppose the handball law has changed over the last few years, but that would have been soft.

When has 0 shots on goal been an onslaught?

Their wide forwards tuck in and a full back steps out to allow a swamp press. They've been more menacing certainly and our midfield 2 haven't been at it.

But they've had 0 fucking shots. How is that an onslaught? We've had 3. How are we mugging them?

I'm sure Dean will be drilling into us what happened in the second half at Burnley. Need a second and we're good enough to get it.

Watkins has been working his socks off again.
