Competition for places had become robust but we have seemed to slip into complacency. Trez, El Ghazi and Ramsey would all be justified in feeling aggrieved for not starting this game.

Disagree with that, they've battled in midfield and had a fair bit of the ball but we've mostly let them play in front of us and Martinez hasn't had anything to do. Looked a bit 'rope a dope' to me, let them run themselves out and then turned it up a notch and bossed the last 10minutes of the half and got our goal.

But with Watkins and Jack we always have a chance. More Jack magic really and we somehow are ahead at the break.

They usually drop off around hour mark, we saw that at VP. Just had to be solid start of second and we should get some good counter attack chances later on in the game.

Ings was called offside after it was deemed not a penalty.
We got lucky, it was pretty similar to the one we didn't get at Arsenal last season which was an obvious one they bottled.

Looked a bit 'rope a dope' to me, let them run themselves out and then turned it up a notch and bossed the last 10minutes of the half and got our goal.
