Absolutely thrilled by every single one of them. Came in with no preparation whatsoever and played against some of the best players in the world. They should be so proud of themselves.

No shame in that at all, they gave it their best, but got knackered trying to complete with one of the best teams in the world. I don't think any of them let themselves down and a good few were excellent.

👏

Still beating them on aggregate, too. 😁

Tonight, I am very proud to be a Villa fan. Each one of them out there showed why we can look to the future with a great deal of excitement.

Many premier league teams would lose to Liverpool 4-1 - or worse. So that is really something to be very proud of.

Hopefully we'll see Barry in the 1st team picture soon, even if its just 10/15 minute cameos.

I’ve never smiled when we’ve lost but tonight it’s different. I’m so proud of our young players. If they keep progressing then our future looks bright. Well done lads
