Slow motion is decidedly fucking conclusive. Pogba kicks his own fucking leg. There is no argument. Its not subjective, that is what happens.

Meanwhile Maguire handballs away a cross.

One is a penalty. Guess which way it went.

Agree.  Can't see how it can be argued that Luiz initiated any contact with Pogba at all.  Never mind, let's just brush that one under the carpet as SKY and the millions of armchair fans around the world wank themselves silly that Man U and Liverpool are joint top of the league.

The penalty, what has gone completely unnoticed is the fact that Pogba has his arm across Luiz's face and throat in the first place.  Dean Smith is rarely wrong about such things, especially after they will have watched it several times after the game.  Michael Oliver is a melt.

That first challenge by Matic on Jack was an absolute nail on yellow, I don’t care if it was his first foul.

Was shin high and clearly cynical...should not matter if first minute or 90th either

We’ve made massive strides in recent months, and with one or two good buys we’ll continue on this trajectory. Disappointed tonight, yes of course but massively optimistic for the future.

This for me and I hate losing to those plastic wankers more than anyone. In the past we'd have lost that 2 or 3 nil but they were relieved for the game to end.

It was on the cards to set up the title chase with them and Liverpool. This would have been an easier game a month ago just like Spurs and Everton would have been tougher a month ago so rest and win those.  It'll also make it all the sweeter when we derail their 'title' bid on the 8th of May in front of a packed VP. UTFV!!

Not for the first time these last 2 seasons we are talking about VAR.  Overall a great performance considering, we need proper back up or to compliment Watkins though.

I'm staggered that a top of the table Premier League match can be decided by what I thought was a shockingly poor refereeing decision. In theory this is why VAR was introduced, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. What I find most confusing is that so many commentators and pundits seem to think that it was the correct outcome. Surely it needs to be clearer than just a 'coming together' for a single incident to effectively be allowed to decide the match?

I was watching on mute to avoid being led by the commentators and couldn't understand what the offence was supposed to be. The players were running alongside each another, and both were using arms. I'm completely perplexed by the outcome, and for balance didn't think the Trezeguet one against Brighton was a penalty either.

How many dodgy penalties do these fuckers get?
11 (Eleven) already this season.

33 penalties in 59 games.

Somebody really should follow the money.

Exactly, it’s good business for United to be near the top, so guess who gets all the decisions.

Don't really blame Michael Oliver for it (though I do blame him for letting them get away with numerous cynical fouls) as there looked like a tangle of legs on first viewing.   The VAR official though either wasn't looking at it properly or his arse completely dropped out.

Agree with FatSam and you, not a penalty for me.

Look who the commentators and pundits are and is it any wonder why they think it is the correct decision.
