Missing Mings' passing ability up to Ollie
Good point. Hause is a decent enough defender but his passing is very suspect.

If anybody doesnt appreciate what Trez gives us it was demonstrated by that goal and Traores contribution to it.

Yep huge miss for games like this. Trez would be sprinting back when we lose the ball, Traore is just jogging back and by then the cross has already been swung in.

Cash was frequently left marking two when Trez was playing.

Not for me. Sounds a bit McLeishy. We need to stop them getting forward by pinning them back. Attack attack attack.

Got to get better support to Cash.  They’ve definitely targeted that side.  He’s quality though.  But I suspect they know Traore isn’t as strong tracking back.

I don't think you'll find anybody disagreeing with that.

I wonder if Kante will eventually get booked by the Coventry referee. 6 fouls so far. Foul no 10 85th minute anyone for his yellow?

We seem to have a lot less patience on the ball. The last few games has seen us moving the ball around with simple passes but we look as though we are less patient tonight at times looking a little bit desperate. Lplenty of time to change and play like we have been Chelsea are not great but we are allowing them to run at us.  We’ll win 2-1😀

Hause has done fine for me. Probably had our best chance with that mistimed header from the free kick.

Much as I want to see Traore going forward I think Dean has got to get Elmo on to shore up the right because at the moment that’s the only thing that is defeating us

Chelsea have a lot of top notch  players and when on form are bloody good, plus we could have done without them getting tonked at Arsenal as they seem to have reacted by upping their effort and game.  I'm not surprised we aren't creating as much as recent matches.

You'd expect a little effort when you spend a quarter of a billion pounds over the summer..

I think we're doing fine. Traore keeps getting sucked into the middle and it looks like Cash wants to stay as compact as possible with his central defenders. Once they are on the same page I think we'll be okay.

We need to be targeting Azpilicueta, Cristensen and Jorginho.. they look awful.

Cash is playing very narrow when they are around the box, Traore should have kept tracking but Matty was inside the line of the 18yd box with an attacker outside of him.  That is more than an issue of one player not tracking properly it's an unbalanced system.

Problem we're having is that Pulisic is tucking inside and Cash is having to go with him, leaving space outside for Chilwell.  Traore is getting drawn to other players or in the case of the goal, is getting caught ball watching and Chilwell is getting far too much space.

We do lack amazing options off the bench, especially with no Barkley or Trezeguet available.
