We should always be happy to play a team with a new manager.
Most of the time a club has just got a new manager because they are on a bad run of results/ punching above the their weight in a division they shouldn't really be in/ got a whining moany fickle fanbase who think they should be doing better than they are/ are a badly run club with owners who make kneejerk panic reactions as they never have any strategic thinking/ can't hit a barn door from five yards/ leak goals at the back faster than the Titanic takes in water/ are generally just shit.
It can be just one of the above that gets the previous incumbent sacked or in the case of Sandwell we have always kicked the shit out the opposition Strollers FC a combination of all of these.
Sandwell 0 Villa 4.

I think this game may be easier than in usual circumstances as they won’t have a crowd of simpletons who are hyped up for their cup final to cheer them on.

I’d say we were a nailed on win with Bilic still there.
I would think Fat Sam will have one tactic, which will be to kick Jack to shreds.
If by some miracle, they try to play football, we'll batter them into next week.

Biggest derby for me, with lots more baggies mates than bluenoses, comes from going to school over Bearwood way in the 80s.
If we have everyone back fit, I hope and think (sort of) we’ll do these 3-0 (Watkins 2 and Grealish)

Can't believe we haven't won there since September 2008. 8 visits I think.
Would be hugely disappointed if that dosen't end on Sunday, think we'll win 2-0.

Biggest derby for me,
100%. This lot have won stuff unlike that tin pot shower down the Coventry Road.

They haven't won a significant trophy since 1968, that's a drought one year longer than Newcastle.

Every other West or East Midlands club that you would expect to be in the top two tiers has won at least one trophy since Albion last did.

The first time I went to The Hawthorns I would have been about thirteen and we won a Milk Cup tie 2-1. Mark Walters put us one up, Cyrille Regis equalised, Clive Thomas sent Gary Owen off and Dennis Mortimer scored the winner quite late on. It was a great atmosphere to be fair.

Smith will know exactly how BFS will set them up, it is Burnley mark 2.
Of course they will kick lumps out of Jack.
If we don’t allow them any easy opportunities, ie free kicks and corners we will be fine.
