I am unbeaten in three on pre-match threads so thought I would keep going.

Which Villa will turn up that is the question?

With Barkley back and the side returned to normality and we play with pace and freedom, we win this game, it is that simple.

With Sam in charge, I think they will dig in and defend similar to Burnley and look to do us on the break.  I still expect us to win this game - 2-1 - Barkley, Luiz.

It pisses me off when clubs change managers just before we play them.  Invariably it means the players try that little bit harder to impress the new gaffer.

Hopefully, no matter how hard they try, the fact they're fundamentally shit means we'll still give them a good stuffing.

thought they were trying their hardest against the Blue Mooners too be honest.

It'll be another game like last night I feel. Attractional with a little bit of Jack magic to take us three points closer to safety :-)

This’ll be tough with bloody Allardyce in charge. Good to have Doug and Cash back. Hopefully Konsa will be too.

Now we have registered that elusive draw another statistical probability is out of the way. We could draw again though I suppose.

I hope we don't, I hope we win. I hope we win because of the opposition, their simmering Blue Nose tribute band hatred of us, their Mickey Mouse main stand, bullshit football philosophy and interchangeable rivalry with us and Wolves depending on who is doing better than them. I hope we give them a hiding, a shellacking, a gubbing, a right good going over, a thrashing, whatever you want to call it.
But most of all I hope we beat them because they've just given a job to that fat moaning, anti football, corrupt, Wrens Nest wanker.

Three fuckin' nil to us.

They'll do what a lot of teams do. Double/triple up on Grealish. Sit back and defend.

We will win this one.

If Barkley is back then AEG has done enough to stay in the team but would have to shift to the right of a 3 with Barkley and Jack. Might suit Watkins to have more of an orthodox? winger on one side pinging his quick crosses as opposed to Traore coming inside always.

Luiz and Cash will come back in for Nakamba and Elmo. Konsa if fit obviously would too.

Luiz and Cash will definitely be back, and hopefully Konsa and Barkley will too, although this being Villa, Barkley probably won't play again until March.

Win, don't get injured, don't get suspended.

Easy.

As long as it's a good clean game and enjoyable for the neutral, that's all I ask for. May the best team win.

I'm expecting FEMSAWBA or former England Manager Sam Allardyce's West Bromwich Albion to play 5-4-1 and try to nick a dead ball position so he can put Sammy Lee's dead ball plans in to action. Also expect tough tackling as "the lads get stuck in and battle it out" and them holding out for a point.

West Brom nil would be great.

Hope we are back to something like full strength
would have been more difficult with a full house and the new manager bounce
 but 3 points for us . 2-0
