Hause's best attribute is his power in the air. Would back him against Wood more than Mings.

He has more than one attribute....!?

He's a grime artist in his spare time apparently!

That bench is like being back in the Championship.

The starting 11 does too..
Get a grip. Some of the starting 11 might be iffy but theres a lot of talent on there too. Jack, McGinn, Mings and Martinez must be worth well over 150 million between them. That would be some championship 11.

Ramsey Engels and Guilbert all on the bench all should be on the pitch

Gotta disagree there. Engels and Guilbert been nowhere near the team for ages. And i'm not sure Ramsey would be up to the physical challenge Burnley bring just four days after Wolves. The bench is threadbare but we knew this already.

Agree to an extent, although I'd have considered a combo of Elmo and Freddie on the right to counter Burnley's physical approach before bringing Traore on later.

Today Smith is going to do a reverse O'Neill by taking off a midfielder and moving the right back in to his position.

No goals for Jay Rodriguez this season, I'm told. Well...

I suppose this was inevitable at some point and further highlights where we are in our evolution. We are better than last season but clearly below the hard shell of our best XI it’s a bit soft. That said these players need to take their chance and prove they can be a part of the future. Last time our vs Stoke a number of them really let themselves down. And the manager let them know about it. Tonight it is a chance for them to make amends.

The starting 11 does too..

Then again, we're not exactly up against Brazil '82 here.

You'd probably take one of their centre backs over Hause, find a space for McNeil somewhere. Maybe Westwood over Nakamba?

We should still be winning this, even with a depleted team.

Well Burnley aren’t coming to take the game to us tonight
they will play their normal game of being cautiously defensive and rely on set pieces

so hopefully there might not be a load of defending to do

I’m clinging to that hope anyway for now

So apparently a realistic ambition for us is to feel as if we belong in the Premier League - according to the commentator
