This games worries me now after our failure against the awful awful west ham. A side who probably won't have any attacking intentions with the north-east's version of Moyes in charge, and our capacity to allow even the most toothless of opposition a 2 or three goal allowance per game. 1-1

We easily beat them last season at VP, should've scored 4 or 5 that night. They'll play 5 at the back like West Ham did and we had no issues cutting through and creating chances last night, just have to be more clinical like in the Liverpool and Arsenal games.

Increasingly get the feeling this will be P-P though. They've apparently requested to league to postpone now as their training ground is closed.

It's very likely to be postponed and I think that is the correct decision.

We'll have two games in hand on the rest of the league til the new year in that case. Has the Man Citeh game been rescheduled? We'll probably end up playing them twice in a row, home and away in the league, ugh.

Our inability to defend will cost us again.

Rules that the clubs agreed to were that as long as you can field 14 players then it should go ahead. (in this article)

https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league-coronavirus-rules-covid-19-test-positive-man-city-aymeric-laporte-riyad-mahrez-634281

Burton albion had 6 positive cases and 6 isolating and were made to play v Hull

League is waiting until Aguero has scored 10 goals in his last 5 games before they decide a date!

I think we'd get a result v Man. City if we could play them now but they've probably be on 6-7 match winning streak around February when it's likely to be played.

Didn't Spartak have 13 odd players out with Covid 19 against Real and still played the game, and beat them.

I read somewhere that if a team have 14 players available then the game will go ahead. This is the Villa though,so they are bound to change the rules and call it off

Another round of testing tomorrow afternoon by what I've just heard so final decision will be made after that.

I presume they've already had some of the 4 players isolating for more than a week so you could play it next Wednesday perhaps, get those 4 out there with a few reserves.

It was Shakhtar Donetsk. They certainly had a few out and ended up playing their 3rd/4th choice keeper and had their former keeper and now goalie coach named as a sub I think.

These are the lengths that teams will go to now to not have to play us.

Chronicle still saying as of 3.24 this afternoon there's been no formal request made by Newcastle for a cancellation.

That's oddly specific.
