At some point in the second half, it was like the team collectively said, ok we have got this and went ahead and took the game.

No Engels on the bench? Hopefully not injured again?

One tiny criticism - it’s 3-0 with a few minutes to go - give the likes of Conor a few mins. The squad players need to feel involved. I know AEG came on, but I would have used the other two sub slots.

As I say it’s a tiny criticism in what is a fantastic effort from all, but just think it was the right opportunity.

I also have a tiny criticism. Why didn't Barry take the penalty ?

I think I saw a stat to say we have the youngest premier league squad. Great potential for this side if that is the case.

Great performance. Interplay between grealish, barklay and Targett for the first goal is class, the luiz cross field pass, barklay first time volley cross Watkins header was class, Martinez to grealish to Watkins class.
And everyone else was just class as well, beer and MOTD2 to finish off the weekend, and the fat orange twat lost the election. Just class

Martinez, 28 was our oldest player today. Taylor and Elmo are the only outfield players in the squad over 30, Hotlips will join them in a few months.

We beat Woolwich Arsenal and Ian Darke and Andy Townsend.
They were condescending, dismissive, disrespectful and disparaging towards us, viewing the game from an Arsenal point of view. Until the second goal when they started gushing about us as if the game had suddenly turned and we hadn't been in it.
Piss poor.

Harsh on Townsend who speaks well of us.
You obviously didn't have the misfortune of his *ahem* punditry tonight then.
The most condescending comment came from Ian Darke "no side has ever been relegated after winning their first four games" We were making Arsenal look like mugs and he talks about us like relegation fodder. Cheeky bastard.

Townsend made me laugh late on when he went on about Southgate saying that Jack was making his way up the pecking order and said with incredulity "what pecking order?".

This was when we were the team outplaying Arsenal with style and panache rather than the team looking to spring a shock and scrape a win.

Another big win and just such a joy to watch, despite the best efforts of VAR to suck the remaining embers of enjoyment out of the game. Great team performance but hard not to pick out Jack - we truly are witnessing greatness there.
