I think we are playing a dangerous game of rope a dope. We are planning on playing much more aggressively when they tire in the second half. Much like we did at Leicester where we were much better than them. At least I think that’s what we are doing. It’s not great so far.

Wolves did it well but they are so adept as strangling the life of of games when they need to

BBC live feed has lost it. Seem to be only using Villa players names.

Similar to Leicester game then, they had most of the pressure in first 20 minutes.

Leeds do play like they're on steroids but think there's been a decrease in most of their second halves this seaso while we've tended to get stronger during the games.

Yes, and you know what you;re getting against Leeds: 110%, all-out front-foot football. Not many teams have dealt with it yet - Wolves, for example, were all over the place in the first half.
It may not look pretty, but Villa have to roll with it, keep competing and strike when they can; in the first half. Come the 2nd, we do need to ensure we can move up the gears.

Right now it’s a very alarming 38:62 possession ratio.

It’s always a good sign of your team when you’re taking players off less than a third into the game due to ill discipline
