We are shithouses. We will rough you up, we will get in the refs ear, we will moan, we will go down easy, we will put a cynical one in. Long may it continue.

Yep and I fucking love it, for too long we have been too nice, passive, a push over.

about time we spoilt a game and acted like arseholes - not that we really did, but that's a game we wouldn't have won last season. I'm all for it.

Cash is getting better and better, but I thought he didn’t need to take the booking for that one 🤔

Absolutely, glad we have a devilish aspect to our game finally.  Let’s give the media also an agenda to slag us off.

Being popular is intricately linked to failure.

To think we have 7 starters who are English and a Scot in the engine room - just like the old days ;)

We're prepared for life post-brexit, those 8 plus an Argentinian, a Brazilian, an Egyptian and a Burkinabé. Quite something when you consider the business we've done in Belgium in recent years.

No, because it's self evident. Have a look on the post match thread from the other week for evidence of necessary.

Jurgen Klopp might be a decent sort, but his club are the joint least-popular in the country. I look forward to the day when neutrals hate us just as much.

Me too, but the assumption that being popular is linked to failure does ring true for me.

It feeds into the myth that you only achieve anything by being an arsehole, or 'a winner' as it's euphemistically called, and it's bollocks.

Nail on the proverbial.
