As soon as I saw that we had the same eleven available to start I was confident that we'd give Leicester a good game. That eleven looks strong.

Beneath the first eleven it's thin in places so we're going to have to go down the 80-81 route and play virtually the same team all season.

That worked pretty well for us...

First words out of Danny Murphy's mouth "Leicester were without a lot of players and it showed" Someone else with an inexplicable dislike of the Villa. Oh well fuck him and fuck all the others who don't like us for no apparent reason.
Yes, he also said 'Villa set out to spoil the game'. I don't think that was the case at all.
Utter bollocks from Murphy. We set out to try to nullify what they are good at. They did the same. It's what decent teams and coaches do. Murphy is such a bellend.

Whereas Sasha Goryunov on The Totally Football Show podcast said:

Quote from: Sasha Goryunov
This was a game where ... Leicester were acutely aware of what threat Villa can pose, so Tielemans very much next to Mendy, [and] centre backs deep. I thought they had a very tight game plan whereby they wouldn’t over commit, and I thought they closed down the space in midfield really really well (as opposed to what Liverpool did a couple of weeks ago). So I thought it was a very cautious approach from Leicester, which didn’t make for a particularly interesting game.“

Yes, a Bundesliga, a Premier League and a Champion's League Vs an unnaturally tiny forehead. I can see why you're smitten.

So you've no punters, or no pub?

Great player. Not yet proven as a manager.

Don’t get personal about football managers or you will get scrutinised on puerile vernacular? Unless you have pals of course.

Fortunately due to our location having a decent demographic spend per head we are just breaking even.
