What I don't get about this idea is how they think it helps them? The grass at Villa park met the standards required or the ref wouldn't have allowed the game to go ahead so all that's really happening is clubs are being told to leave their grass a bit longer to beat liverpool. They'd be much better served accepting we got our tactics right and they made a bit of a mess of theirs.

Is anyone aware of the comments Klopp was supposed to have made last season about Villa being just a pub team without Grealish? I mention this because following our great 7-2 victory no one from what I've seen on here has mentioned it. This was just before we beat their kids in the cup.

Yeah, Klopp has too much class to say or probably even think that. I vaguely recall him being very complimentary of the club/ground when they won late on at VP last season.
