I would’ve thought there’s a chance the game could be called off at this rate.

Aren't they obligated to complete the fixture? Orient had to forfeit against Spurs last week because they had too many players in isolation.

Can we play their U23s again, just in case?

Surely with squads of 25 named, you would have to have up to 7 or more players poorly before the FA consider postponing?

Up to 25 is only over-21 players. Nothing to stop them selecting youth players. Better still, just award us the match like they did to Tottenham when this happened to Leyton Orient.

Isn’t it more a question of whether it could spread to both squads?  I don’t know I’m just speculating.

Middlesbrough got docked three points for not fulfilling a fixture once due to illness and injuries so there’s precedent.  I think the orient situation was EFL rules.

Why is it that a kid gets it and the whole school gets locked down, yet a footballer can just leave his squad and nobody else is affected?

Especially for our footy friend.

1-2.  Watkins.

Davis will not score.

Why thank you.
So I say we will get a result and Watkins for his first league goal.
Villa haven't conceded yet and we are very strong in restricting shots.
Would like to have 5 attackers push on to Liverpool High back line and play with progressive attacks.

But actually Smith will have a plan to expose their full backs and also we should have good opportunities

Hope Mane gets well but some fortune there for us ! As he always seems to score so good he's not playing. Maybe there should be others.

Remember when Liverpool fans were getting in a tizzy whenever the possibility of last season being declared null and void was discussed?

Well looking at social media it would now it would appear that one positive should be grounds for a fixture postponement.

Villa 5 - 1 Liverpool. All goals in the first half.

But with the TV cameras there this time.

Derby bloody County and their new star signing.

Think that match finished 0-0 as well

Abandon the match and the season. Current placings to apply for 2021-22.

No, pro-rata everyone's points and GD up to 3 games if they've only played 2. Puts us 2nd behind Leicester rather than a disappointing 4th.

If it goes ahead, I've just got this feeling Villa to win 3-1!
