I thought that against Spurs, he looked completely out of his depth. Then again, they all did that day.

When we has to run he's a liability. Very good with ball at his feet and he's one of our best players in the air in fairness. Feared Tielemans/Barkley in a 2 but Liverpool suffer from a lack of legs too.

I thought he looked really good against West Ham but in every game since he looks about as athletic as me, which obviously effects his general game.

I think he's better when playing deeper these days.  It was a sensible move to bring him on at half time, probably surprised Liverpool too.  I thought he had a good game.  Shame he's not involved in the Europa squad as he's an asset.

Made a difference when he cane on last night
Bolstered the midfield and was his shot that was pushed out for a goal
Keep as squad player for me

He's already contracted until 2027 so I would be more than happy to see how things develop before offering any extension.

Places like Capology still have it ending June this year, that's why some people think that we have a year extension option. I know it's wrong because I remember someone clearing that up earlier in the year (maybe Tanswell) as well as Barkley himself.

Feel bad for him that he's not in the Europea squad. He would have got a decent amount of game time plus likely a sub appearance in the final at least.
