Very disappointed for him. Very effective when he has played for us. A solid pro and has overcome personal demons on his path back. I’d be surprised if he’s with us next year so hopefully he can have some impact at the tail end of the season if he does get back to fitness.

He's not had much luck with injuries, didn't we have someone else fairly recently who walked off the pitch unaided, only to be ruled out for months?

Just simply not available enough to make a consistent contribution.

He might be one of those players that only stays match fit by playing matches.

Gutted for him. He's worked really hard to even get cameos. He must be so fucked off. Wouldn't blame him for hitting the booze again.

It’s a blow as he was contributing and adding guile to the team. A grade 2 sprain or ligament damage takes 6 to 8 weeks. He will get good treatment and we should be looking at 6 with luck. That’s hope and me being optimistic.

Between 8 and 12 weeks is what's been put out there.

Which means he'd never play for us again

Out of contract in summer? Timing couldn't be worse for him.

No, he's got another year left after that.

We have an option to extend for a year but the original contract was for 2 seasons.

Unlikely to extend if he's giving Darren Anderton a run for his sick-notes.
