It was only a two year deal he signed, wasn't it? Think this might have been his last chance to get going and stake a claim for starts. Keeps breaking down.

Option for another year (in the clubs favour) this summer, I think but otherwise his deal expires at the end of the season.

Doubt it was ever the intention for him to be a starter when all fit.
