I'd much rather play a few of the youth team and enjoy seeing what they can do see what they offer
than see Lansbury Hause, Taylor El Ghazi lumbering around all night

Good point. Its good to see Ramsey in there but why not throw a few of the other promising youngsters in - they would be hungry to impress - rather than see if we can get a tune of out players we long ago consigned to the reserves. I mean Lansbury .................  should never see him in a Villa shirt again!

Wow. I’m not sure I was expecting that lineup...

I was a bit concerned by the line-up, until I read that Bristol City have made 8 changes themselves from the side that beat Stoke at the weekend.

Basically, it looks like our reserves against theirs.  You'd think we'd have enough to win that?

With a bit of luck, Lansbury will have a blinder and will convince a watching Championship club that he's worth a punt for the season.

Although obviously Chris Brunt will score, like he does every time he plays us.

Well, obviously.

A consolation in the 93rd minute with any luck.

That line-up is somewhat of a surprise to put it mildly.
