I didn’t realise they’d only sent this to selected fans, of which I wasn’t one.

They have assured me that it has nothing to do with who gets to renew or not etc.

Has anyone done the supporter survey?
Yep.
Priority to STHs and long term supporters (that fits with me and almost everyone I know who goes, Home and Away), with a view that whatever arrangements are made won't be forever and we will all be getting back to VP asap.

Yep. Ballots are inherently unfair and priority ought to be given to those who go the most and for the most consecutiveyears, as has always been the case with limited allocations.

You can accept their reassurance. I went to one match last season what with all the TV changes balling up the ones I wanted to go to and I got the survey. Can't remember what I put for priority but I did go for the wait three games option if you win a ballot.

At most the club will look to allocate 10k per game to season ticket holders & 2.5k to the general support. Which means ST holders can get to at least 1 in 3 games. However, by October we could be in a very different position with this virus than we are now.

Given a large number of ST holders would be very wary of attending under any circumstances, myself included. With the increase of unemployment coming & an overall tightening of belts a lot of people simply won't have the money or won't take the risk.

I have been a season ticket holder for 53 years so I should go to every match 😎.

But seriously, I opted if selected to wait 3 games before balloted again to give everybody same chance of attending

You should.

I think I chose random every ballot but then had a moan that ballots are unfair. There's a queue and its measured in decades of misery, if you've only got a few under your belt, to the back!

I did the survey yesterday. Tricky question about allowing away fans or not - I went for no.

I said yes to away fans. I think a token gesture of 2-300 tickets could work for now. It would make the overall atmosphere a tiny bit better, and I was also thinking of us as away fans for our own away games. Something would be better than nothing.

Can’t see any away fans at any stadium until 2022.
