This is fucking nerve shredding.
I may have to walk the dog again to calm down.
The poor bugger will be on bloodied stumps they way this is going.

My entire family is watching this.  It's like the Steve Davis v Dennis Taylor final chez moi.

Looks like Smith tweaked the set up to 4 1 4 1 which has worked, the issue is asking Trez and zJack to stay disciplined. SJM doing a lot of work covering space. We need another goal.

Extremely professional first half. Good performances across the pitch.

C'mon lads, 45 minutes.  I don't recall Samatta touching the ball so I'd definitely bring Davis on for the whole second half.

Yeah, I would too. Samatta looks completely lost.

Otherwise, really good so far. Craving that second goal now. Come on lads, let’s do this.

So far so good, if we can hold this, go on and win, there is no way Arsenal will tolerate losing to Villa and then lose or draw to Watford going into a Cup Final, Watford will get the backlash, that said, its difficult to see Arsenal coming out in the 2nd half without stepping up the tempo.

Come On Villa, don't invite them on, we know what happens.

If we can get a second I don’t see Arsenal busting a gut to turn it around.

45 minutes to go. This is a huge 45 minutes. If we can keep them as quiet as they were in the first half, we’ll be fine.

We need a second goal. Get Davis on to bully their defence.

Did well but you’d expect Arsenal to be better 2nd half, I worry for us from our right hand side as I think they can do some damage. Massive 45 mins here.

For us, Samatta really offers nothing at all, midfield doing well but I’d like to see Davis up against Luiz.

Great half.  Concentration all over the pitch is better.  Oh, Hinchcliffe, the man is never the danger, the ball is the danger.

One thing I would like us to do more of, get the ball in the box from every free kick we can, from anywhere on the park.  Tyrone Mings is 6'5 and will cause Arsenal problems.  Lovely goal from Trezeguet.  That puts an extra million on his price tag.

He needs to bring Davis on to occupy the Arse defence & get us up the pitch. He might not score but he can rag doll Luiz.

Please please please please please just for once soak up pressure and get a killer goal on the break, like every other relegation struggler in history does.

They need to approach the 2nd half as if it’s 0-0 and fight for every ball. It really is now or never time - these boys can be heroes if they really badly want it.

Arse are a top side though and we should expect them to come out and step it up. Next 45 mins biggest for the club since that day at Wembley in May 19
