Everton v Aston Villa 0 Pre Match Thread.
« on: July 13, 2020, 06:20:55 PM »
Goodison Park, Thursday 16th July, 18.00KO.

I’ve only kept the 0 bit because I opened the last one and I’m trying to bring us luck!

1-2 Trez, McGinn
Trevor Ross for them.

Can someone email Everton pointing out Us V Them is the most played fixture in top flight history and it's in their interest to extend the record next season.

2-1.

Trevor Steven and Kevin Sheedy for them. Andy Gray (the black one/not the dickhead white one) for us.

I know some are assuming they'll be on the beach but Ancelotti really laid into them yesterday after being pummelled by Wolves. Hope we're not backlashed.

Kevin Richardson will handle one off the line at the end. 2-0 them.

If we can start well and take the lead, maybe, just maybe ..

Delusion fully restored after yesterday’s win. We start well and get an early goal, they give us a scare, we finish the job like we haven’t done all season.

1-3 Grealish, Trez and Hourihane with a stunning free kick to ease the nerves).

Everton fans seem to think if we turn up we'll beat them. They don't have a lot of love for their team. Most furious after the Wolves humiliation.

Saying that, we've been numerous times up against teams with players out, on a bad run, can't score to save their lives, fans on their backs and what happens? We roll over.

No excuses. Fight to the death. 1-3 Villa (Conor, Samatta and McGinn).
