Quick question for Twitter users, is it normal the user has only made 2 posts? Seems a bit strange to me but no real idea how twitter works.

West Midland Police have taken a 12 year old in for questioning.

Where I live, a 14 year old burgled a house last week. His parents were also arrested for being bad parents.

Should happen to this 12 year olds parents as well.

I’m not being deliberately provocative here. It’s subtle so bear with me and have a think before quickly responding.

The statement he’s not one of us, was quickly challenged on Twitter and at the time I agreed when I saw the response to that, that you are getting upset about the wrong thing.

Yet, seeing it here a few times, I do agree with the sentiment. I wish he/she wasn’t a villa fan, will hopefully get banned (and experience with the club on racism at a game this season was very very good, so I do trust them on that), and I  hope/trust they are not on H&V.

But it’s too easy to do that ‘othering’,  that implies none of our fans are racist and say it’s not part of us. It is at times, consciously or unconciously. Got to rush out to work so not at my most carefully worded, but hope this makes sense. I think especially in the context of BLM, we need to own it a bit more, and (I’ll get accused of being a snowflake, don’t care), on average check ourselves a bit more too.
