You have to say when you see your team relegated when they've are put in a good performance like this, easily the better side, you could wash your hands of football altogether.

If the roles had been reversed for the VAR on the penalty shout, they'd have reversed it for a sneeze in the build up or something.

I've been against var since day one. It's fundamentally flawed and has been used by officials to cover each others arse. It's bollocks and it is ruining the game. Doesn't change the fact that the ref would have given it anyway without var. It's fucking Man U obviously it's a pen.

Even on the Man U forum (Fred Tissue) they're saying it was never a pen and more a foul by Fernandes. Or as one put it "Good Old Mossy". What's that, 17 pens they've got this season?

And last. it's a staggering statistic considering they've not threatened  the title race in either season.

McGinn looks like he's carrying a not inconsiderable amount of timber.

He really has been at the fried mars bar diet during his hiatus.

Had the ref not given a penalty but VAR reviewed it, they wouldn’t have given a pen, I’m sure.
