Goal difference damage limitation should probably be the priority, much will depend on whether it's hangover/on the beach Liverpool or bounce-back from a heavy defeat Liverpool that turns up. Either version will probably beat us, the issue is by how any.

Clinging to the hope we are due some luck. Win this and we stay up. Don't care how jammy we are, stranger things happen.

If anyone on here should happen to see Herr Klopp out walking his dog, can you slip him a brown envelope of cash between now and Sunday and ask him to do the decent thing?

I heard today from a pretty good source that 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' have been on an almighty bender for days.
The problem is that they will be freshening up the team with the youth who will be champing at the bit.

Important toss to win.
Put them in first and get some early wickets.
The Anfield pitch isn't renowned for spin but I reckon Jim Cumbes medium pace could get some joy, their middle order batting looked weak against City last night.

My heart says we will win a five set epic.
My head says we will lose in straight sets 6-0, 6-0, 6-0.

Several of our chaps will become unhorsed at Becher's Brook.  The cox will fall out at Hammersmith bridge and be drownded. JT will be banned for grimacing in an unsporting fashion. Kloppman will declare at 700/2.

Innings defeat.

Their thrashing by City means just pain for us. We need to leave Anfield on Sunday with our confidence not totally shattered.

There's talk of Louie Barry being involved.

5-0 to them.  I would guess at something like 20% possession to us.  We'll just have to get this out of the way, take our medicine, and move on.

There was before lockdown, eg the cup final.  Never happened.  Can't see it personally.

He can't do any worse.  Samatta and Davis are tripe.

They have also had no service whatsoever.
