Can't find the quote but I've seen Smith say that his knock last week was nothing and that he needs more games before he can be involved with the first team.

Yep, then said that he hoped he be involved sometime before the end of the season.  I think it's far more likely to be next season now, full pre-season under his belt and he'll be fine I reckon.

Also we use the academies as a genuine step to progression.  Our U'18s are basically 16 and our under 23's are our best 17-20 year olds.

Louie Bazza really is very good and I would love to see him make his senior debut this season

6-0 at half time

Deano is there. Chukwuemeka (x2), Barry (x2) and A Ramsey (x1) look too good for this level. Surely we are going to give these kids a chance this season? No crowds, less pressure and it seems impossible they could do worse than Barkley and El Ghazi on recent form.

I'd definitely be giving Chukwuemeka a look, he's a big lad and looks a bit of a bully at this level.
