Agreed. He needs to update his bloody LinkedIn page, though.

Steer made some very necessary saves in the first half.
There are some talents in that squad, for sure.

Agreed, he has to be ready for a first team run out at some point this season. Massive guy, massive talent

Fuck me that Carney Chukwuemka chap looks the bollocks. He looked on the highlights as if he was taking the piss and playing miles below his level.

Would love to see him make his debut before the end of the season. I feel he's going to be a massive talent.

Surprisingly, I was a little disappointed by the display which was a bit fitful.

Thought we should have scored in the first minute -Kessler missed, which is unusual. Both of his goals were very well taken.

Wolves dominated a lot of the ball, though not much got through. Appalling mistake by CB Sohna that had to be rescued (twice) by Jed.

The skills shown in the build-up to the third goal were mouth-watering -almost Jackesque!!

I was also impressed with Farr (sub) who could have had a second-half hat-trick.

I believe he will be in the squad next season as a Barkley replacement; whether he is on the bench or starting will depend on who is brought in to replace Barkley.

Chukwuemeka seems to have a deeper starting position than the number 10 role Barkley has been playing. It seems to be Aaron Ramsey that's been playing that role.

Many of these kids will be going out on loan. We haven't just appointed a Loans Manager and Coach to then be keeping them here.

At home to Burton Albion in the last 16 round of the FA Youth Cup Wed 14th April 3pm ko, not sure why it's an early start all the other ties, kick off at 7pm on various dates.

More evidence of the continuation of moving on those not deemed good enough to let us bring through younger players.

"Aston Villa poised to release nine Under-23s as others get fresh chance."

A tough time to be out of contract given Covid and the financial difficulties facing all clubs, but at least if they’ve been told now it gives them a good few months before next season to try and get fixed up elsewhere.

Fulham seem to have a good youth development programme going by how our U18 and U23's have fared against them.

Not surprised at all to see we got thrashed at Fulham this afternoon  I have mentioned before they always seem to beat us at reserve and youth level I noticed there was no sign of Wesley i wonder if we are not being told the full extent of his injury last week
