Seven goals for him now. One to keep an eye on?

And did we ever get any reason why the club Twitter pays no attention to these games?

Oh and we've been drawn away to Reading in the Youth Cup. Given the small crowds these matches usually attract, is there a chance fans could be allowed to attend?

Good 2-0 win for the U23 at Stoke tonight Well taken goals from Philogene -Bidace and Barry were good enough to see off Stoke .Villa dominated most of the game after the Stoke Keeper received a red card and should have scored more but 2-0 will do nicely

I've heard a lot of good things about Jaden P-B. Has anyone seen him play?

He's only just seventeen, isn't he, but already in the U23s and doing well.

Any idea if Heaton had much to do?

I assume he's injured otherwise I would expect him to be on the bench. They've purposely packed the U23's with mostly 18 year-olds though.

Heaton did not have much to do  ,in fact i can only remember him having  to make a couple of tame efforts throughout the whole match .The sending off of the Stoke  keeper after  around ten minutes ensured Villa had most of the ball and should really have had more goals

New Aston Villa Inner City Football Academy as part of the Witton Road development. Seems a superb idea to continue to capture young local talent.

Very good move.  Big city like Birmingham will have plenty of young talent to mine, but we probably miss out on as they're unable to get to Bodymoor.

Another very clever move from NSWE

Transport from schools is (or at least was) provided by the club.

Still is unless it's changed in the last few weeks. Still better to have something more central to replace stumps though (on that topic has it actually closed yet).
