Depends what you mean by 'give it a go', CT. Given the state of the table, a narrow defeat wouldn't be the end of our season. On the other hand, a comprehensive shoeing could well prove terminal.

We'll win, anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it. 2-1, Hourihane free kick for the winner with a harrowing amount of time left on the clock.

I just think if we’re going down the route of playing Jack and whoever is on the other side as additional full backs, we’ll get a shoeing anyway.

Anyway, how long is “harrowing”. Are you saying we'll go 2-1 up with 25 minutes left? My ticker might be in a bit of bother if that’s the case!

Yep, something like that. And people thought the POF stoppage time seemed an eternity!

Traore running at Targett all night with Jiminez in the middle?  It's going to be horrible.

Yes, it would be very useful if Traore massively overslept and turned up when it's dark.

I hope Freddie is back.

I would go with;

Nyland

Targets
Mings
House
Guilbert

Dougie
Hourihane
McGinn
Grealish

Samatta
Davis

Sorry Ad's, but there is no pace in that midfield or forward line at all. I think he'll play at least 1 of the two wingers.

Yeah I share the pessimism. They have all the ingredients required to rip us a new one including traore bang in form, with pace and an axe to grind.

Other than dispatching him to Mordor via the frozen North, why would he have an axe to grind with us? If anything, he owes us for not turning him into one of those really good Championship-level players.

I'll be out tomorrow, so thinking of watching on BT full event replay, any idea how quickly they make games available? Then the dilemma, do I check the score before?

I’d like to see Davies and Samatta together for the rest of the season, but if you take Smith for his word in his interview today, two up top isn’t happening, unless he was bluffing, but doubt it.

Same side, same set up, same substitutions made at same times.....regardless of score or how we are playing.

I can’t see us getting anything. Hope I’m wrong.

Sad to say, they are in a different league at this time and we are doomed

3-2 with Angel getting a brace. Gareth Barry will get the other. Saddam Hussein will be captured in Iraq while the match is under way.

Or 1-0 Villa, Super Tommy Johnson will knock one in off the diving goal keeper on a pitch that’s nearly devoid of grass.

Either score would do but I think we’ll be the usual passive side letting Wolves play and roll us over.

Good games although I saw highlights of that cup game and we really got away with it, think Wolves hit the post/bar three times.

Bjarni strolling through their backline and firing in from 20 yards was a much more recent highlight.

They don't really hammer teams, usually win by the odd goal home and away (as they did v us in the home game although they dominated that one).

Would be a really bad defensive day at the office considering West Ham and Bournemouth both kept them scoreless for an hour.
