This is horrible to watch so far. Our only "tactic" appears to be lump it towards Davis and hope something luckily comes off.

That is of course during the 3% of the time we have the ball.

Chelsea are a good team, but nowhere near good enough for us to show them such a ludicrous amount of respect.

I'd be looking at changing it at half time if not before.  Yes, they've only had one shot on target (good save from Nyland) but...  We haven't had the ball yet have we?  We won't keep it 0-0 by defending on sth 18 yard area.  One of those games where you need the crowd.

God only knows what Smith sends us out to do in such games.

Poor so far. Still not a fan of Smith and his inept tactics.

It is the same old toothless, can't keep the ball for twenty seconds, uncreative, frustrating football that we have come to know and dislike this year.

I just don't understand our complete inability to pass to another Villa player.
It’s because there is no Villa player in front of the bloke with the ball mate.

The 4-3-3 was horrendous during our last few matches before lockdown, it looks like Dean Smith is hoping against hope that it's magically become more effective.  It hasn't.

End of the first quarter and I don't think we've had a first down yet.

a number on interceptions from our QB, a few fumbles from our RB and dropped passes. You can't win if you keep turing the ball over.

Dean Smith is sending us down.
as has geen said before, out thought and out fought - nice guy, but WAY out of his league. The writing has been on the wall for months. Time to move on, sadly.

If we can get to half time 0-0 then maybe we can be more positive in the second half, perhaps  go two up front.  I bet we don't though.

Are the players aware where we are in the table?
