I just saw the ball flash past Davis and I'd genuinely forgot he was on the pitch!

Have they all got their NHS badges on? I don't want to be arguing with Gammony Karen on Facebook later.

From the Beeb

"A win for the hosts would ensure Villa become just the second team in top-flight history to win a match on all seven days of the week within a season, emulating Tottenham in 1986-87."

Pretty staggering seeing we've only won 6 games so far.
So a win on a Sunday and we run out of days☹️

Watching on Now TV...is there any way to turn off the fake crowd noise as it’s way too loud and barely here commentary? I’m selected Sky Sports Main Event but does it matter which of the many Sky Sports channels is selected.
I think Sky sports Premiere League doesn't have the  crowd noise
Nice one. They just so happened to put up a scrolling banner saying SSPL doesn’t have the crowd noise. I’ll give this a go now 👍

Having weaklings in the team like El Ghazi and Hourihane is still a massive problem.

Is there a Sky Channel which includes Villa getting into the Chelsea half?

Yep. It starts around 75/80 minutes when were 0-2 down, tune back in later.

Yep. Both look well off the pace and lightweight.
Conor has already wasted two out of two set pieces.

Corner at least.

Chelsea pretty weak at defending crosses.

Pretty sure it includes cup games

No, league games only but we've won 7 not 6 (2 on Saturday).

We need to play on the front foot because trying to hold them for 90 minutes will only end one way

DS said earlier in the week that he would stick to his “tried and trusted” 4-3-3...I think he’s the only one of us would call it trusted.
That’s quite worrying knowing tried and tested has us second bottom some points away from safety.
