I started going every week in 1985, he’d either left or faded. Walters gets in as he was the only one worth watching for years

For a year or so Alpay was as good as there has been, rather spoiled his copybook mind

I’ve stuck to players I’ve seen live with exception of Gary Shaw who blonde mop was the reason this Villa fan is a Villa fan whilst growing up in a family of noses.  Milner is the biggest omission

I considered Daley and Young. Ashley Young was one of the most exciting players we have ever had. Shame he ended up going on to become just a bit part player, usually out of position, for those twats. In fairness, he never got the respect he deserved from quite a lot of Villa fans, too. Certain segments of our support have a deep suspicion of flair players.

Yes , there are certain players who because of either a) what club they go to  b) the lack of acknowledgement of Villa they give once they move on or c) being a tool the way they behave as a person don’t get the credit they deserve.
Young and Milner are a)
David Platt and Gareth Southgate are b)
Collymore Savo, Alpay and Hodge are c)
The snake is a mixture of a) and c)
