Quote from: Damo70 on March 17, 2020, 05:25:55 PMDidn't Neale Cooper die from an injury sustained in a fall too? Peter Whittingham was a limited player in a limited Villa side but went on to make a lot of appearances for Cardiff if I remember right. Yet another tragic early death for a former Villa player.I think Whittingham was much better than a limited player, he was a Cardiff legend, and was a prolific scorer (from midfield) at Championship level. Even in these times, it's a bit of a shock to see someone you remember making his early steps in football suddenly die like that. RIP.

BBC nor Sky are reporting this, although Michael Chopra has confirmed it. Very sad. RIP.
Press Association saying fake news.
He was more than a legend .....he was a Cardiff City GOD in my eyes. This is absolutely devastating for his family.I lost my son a year ago at aged 36, and he worshipped him too.Probably the best, most consistent player we have had at City, probably ever.
