Edit - forgot to add that I hope Martin Atkinson isn’t involved in any of our remaining games this season (though heard someone at the game say he is reffing the League Cup Final).
Can someone please explain exactly what Engels actually did?
Honestly, I know it’s disappointing to lose in the way we did, but there is some absolute fucking shit being written on here. If you’re that convinced that everything is rubbish, we’re shit and definitely going down then don’t bother watching anymore. The game I was at we should have been 2 or 3 up before they scored, only an unbelievable save from their keeper and a pass from Jack when he should have shot kept them in it. We had more possession, more corners and more shots, and in the end we’re undone by a dodgy penalty and a mistake from a defender starting his first game in months. Unfortunately it’s a tough league, and sometimes these things go against you. What’s pissing me off more than anything else though is this attitude that Smith is useless and we have got a team that is not up to it. Have you seen us in the last 10 years? Do you remember what we looked like a little over 12 months ago? This team, by and large, is full of young players getting a full season at this level for the first time and they are trying their bollocks off - just look at the previous 2 home games for evidence. They are going to get things wrong, but they will also get better together the longer they have.

We didn't deserve that and neither did they. But what happened, errrr, happened. Playing well is all well & good: but it's those critical moments when we don't that cost us - time & time again. Did it actually surprise you that we failed to hold on for a point in the very last minute of the match? It saddens me to say that I thought it was all-too-predictable.Of course what happend, err happend, but bar the fuck up at the end, we get a deserved point out of that. That's said, we should have finished them off in the first half.

Why are so many saying relegation is ‘nailed on’ ‘racing certainty’ etc. I saw enough fight there to take this to the wire unlike the last time we were relegated. There is only one team that is nailed on and that’s Norwich at the moment. Other teams around us have changed their managers which is always a risk

Nothing will give me greater pleasure (ish) than seeing us battle our way to survival, but my feeling is that we ain't got what it takes presently. I'll be absolutely delighted to be hopelessly wrong (obviously), so here's to my diet of humble pie for a several weeks after the season ends.

You can’t throw away points like that, absolutely not good enough. Again. This, unfortunately. When it comes to them 'small margins': we perpetually fuck it up (on the countless occasions that we haven't already capitulated). Game management?! Don't make me laff. Going down. Fact. Its not a fact though is it, we have frustratingly thrown away points all season, we have continuously shown poor game management most of the season and yet the only fact is that after all that we are still out of the relegation zone. Are there 3 sides in the league that look like the'll be gone before us? Not for me as it stands...As it stands..... The 3 that are below us perhaps? Did you have a few drinks at the match by any chance?

I genuinely don't understand why you thought we got nothing "predictably"? In the last two home games we've reach 90 mins level, and won them both. We've won more than we've lost in injury time this season. If Engels doesn't miss that ball, we get a point and I'm sure everyone would have said it was well-deserved.
